Houssam: At my current health tech startup (more soon!), we have been using TeamingWay Inc. for our internal and external communication (chat ,voice/video), goal tracking and task management.
Think of it as a combination of slack+zoom+asana. The product is rapidly evolving and the team is actively listening to customers to add the features mostly in demand. In addition, the support has been nothing short of amazing. What I like about the product is that the subscription gives you access to all the features. Lately, I have noticed that it is becoming a headache to select which plan and add-ons to use for each productivity platform out there. I have high hopes for Teamingway to become a leading SAAS business management tool. Onwards and upwards!🚀

What niche has been filled by your company and how does DocJo add value to its employees?
Houssam:DocJo offers parents a platform to help them take care of their children’s health and wellbeing. We offer a holistic and personalized approach where parents use our platform and services to get consultations for medical and behavioral issues and get access to tools and information to help them better manage their children’s overall wellbeing.
What is your role at DocJo and how do you primarily use TeamingWay?
Houssam:I am the Chief Product Officer and I oversee technology, product management, and marketing. I use TeamingWay daily to communicate with my colleagues and manage our work to ensure our objectives are met.
What does your day-to-day look like? And how does TeamngWay help you in your daily activities?
Houssam:On a daily basis, I need to coordinate work with different teams such as the technology team, the operations team and the product management team Teamingway helps me focus on the day’s tasks and know what’s coming in the pipeline and how close we are to accomplishing our goals.
What system was in place before coming to TeamingWay, and what was taking the most time away from your productivity?
Houssam:We were using email, whatsapp and Microsoft Teams. We didn’t have a common tool to organize our work and assign tasks and track progress. A lot of time was wasted trying to follow up on tasks. Many issues used to be discussed by left undone because no proper responsibilities were assigned and it was difficult to track implementation.
How does TeamingWay help accomplish your goals?
Houssam:TeamingWay helps us by ensuring there are proper deadlines and responsibilities assigned to each task. Even tasks can be broken down into smaller subtasks which allows us to get more granular. The uplifted notification system ensures we are always aware of assignments made or missed and approaching deadlines or overdues.
What features from TeamingWay have proven to be the most helpful?
Houssam:I especially like the Goal feature with its tasks and sub-tasks capabilities. I believe this is a very beneficial feature to reach business objectives and it can further evolve into a very powerful management tool.
Were there any high-level initiatives or goals that prompted the decision to look at TeamingWay?
Houssam:Our team was growing and we were starting to get disorganized. We need something that would bring us all together to achieve our objectives.
How was the process of onboarding your team into TeamingWay?
Houssam:The TeamingWay team was very helpful and supportive in onboarding our team. In general, the platform is very intuitive and easy to use. We had 1 training session for our team and the support team has been very fast in providing us with assistance whenever needed.
